Between Woman and their Extravagance
Wasteful or wasting money is a bad thing and is certainly hated by Allah SWT. This trait often appears when we have a lot of excess assets so that we seem to forget the underprivileged people out there who still need clothing, food and proper housing.
We really need to realize that extravagance is a despicable trait. The prohibition of this wasteful nature is explained in the Qur'an Surah Al-Isro' verse 27: "Indeed, the wasteful person is the brother of Satan and the devil is a complete disbeliever in his Lord."
And it is also explained in a hadits narrated by Muslim which reads: "Verily Allah is pleased with three things for you and is angry when you do three things. Allah is pleased if you worship Him , and ( Allah is pleased ) if you hold on to Allah 's rope completely and advise one another against the rulers who govern your affairs. Allah is angry if you are busy with rumors, asking a lot of useless questions, and wasting wealth."
Wasteful nature is always closely related to woman because women tend to have a great desire to have something in large quantities especially coupled with the high price, which makes them happier and forgets everything. Especially when they are shopping how happy they are when they are going to buy knick-knacks to decorate themselves and it seems like heaven in front of them.
It would be nice for us as the people of Prophet Muhammad to stay away from extravagance and cultivate a culture of frugality because then we will get many benefits both for ourselves and for others.
Let's think about it if we get more fortune from Allah SWT. Then we donate some of the fortune or we give charity to people who are not able, it will increase our reward and also the fortune will benefit the people we give.
Someone once said that those who give in charity will certainly not run out of wealth or even that property will be replaced by an amount that is many times as large as in his saying: "Indeed, those who give charity, both men and women and lend to Allah with loans. good, will surely be multiplied (reward) to them and for them a lot of reward." (Surah Al-Hadid: 18)
Let's cultivate charity :)
